COIN’S FRONT:
100th Bomb Group, 1945 marked B-17 flying low over the "Thank You Boys" tribute written in a Dutch field with food being dropped. The outer rim of the coin shows black enamel filled text reading: "Bundles Not Bombs, 80th Anniversary, Operation Chowhound"
COIN'S BACK:
Shows a map of the North Sea and the Netherlands with black enamel filled boxes depecting the 100th drop locations. The date of the 100th food drops is shown in enamel filled text reading " Netherlands May 1-7, 1945". The outer rim of the coin shows the names of the drop sites with the number of "boxes" appearing in front of the names indicating the number of drops made at those particular sites.
