100^th Bomb Group Foundation Challenge Coin 

In honor of the 

100^th Bombardment Group (H) of WWII  

and the  

 100^th Air Refueling Wing, RAF Mildenhall

The Quality and Craftsmanship of this Commemorative Challenge Coin features: 

·         Die struck raised metal surfaces on front and back sides 

·         High polished silver plating 

·         Eight color enamel fills 

·         Large 2 inch diameter 

·         Enclosed in a thick vinyl packet 

The front of the coin displays the 100th Bomb Group Emblem, the Bloody Hundredth, an Eight Air Force B-17 Flying Fortress unit in England, stationed at RAF Thorpe Abbotts during WWII.   

The back of the displays the RAF Mildenhall logo and the tail markings on a KC-135 and a B-17 with the U.S. and British Flags.  It represents the bond between the 100^th Air Refueling Wing (100^th ARW) a United States Air Force unit assigned to the United States Air Forces in Europe Third Air Force, stationed at RAF Mildenhall, England and its predecessor, the 100^th Bombardment Group (H) of WWII.
